In the Android App
You can delete your account directly from the Smart Inventory Android app:
- Open the app and sign in to the account you want to delete (open the left navigation menu and tap Sign in / Register if you are not already signed in).
- Open the left navigation menu and tap User Settings (or tap your account header at the top of the menu).
- Under Account Operations, tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion prompt and complete the sign-in check if asked. Deleting your account immediately removes your inventory data, the photos stored with your items, groups, and tags, and your sign-in account.
On the Web
If you have access to the Smart Inventory Web App, you can delete your account from your browser:
- Sign in at smartinventory.nonzeroapps.com/web and open Settings from the left navigation menu.
- In the Account & Privacy section, click Delete Account.
- Enter your account email address (or type DELETE if your account has no email address) and click Delete account permanently, then confirm your sign-in if prompted. Deleting your account immediately removes your inventory data, the photos stored with your items, groups, and tags, and your sign-in account.
Without Signing In (by Email)
If you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in, you can request account deletion without signing in:
- Send an email from the email address tied to your Smart Inventory account to support@nonzeroapps.com.
- Use the subject line Delete my account and include the email address of the account you want deleted.
We verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete deletion within 30 days (and usually much sooner), consistent with our Privacy Policy.
What Is Deleted & What Remains
Deleted permanently
- Sign-in account: your Smart Inventory sign-in account.
- Inventory data: your items, groups, tags, fields, and quantity history.
- Photos: the photos stored with your items, groups, and tags.
Not deleted or outside our control
- Minimal purchase link: to let a paid purchase be restored or refunded, we keep a minimal purchase link (no inventory, no email) for up to 180 days after a subscription ends, and for a lifetime purchase until it is refunded.
- Google Play purchase records & subscriptions: purchase history and active subscriptions are managed by Google Play Billing and are not under our control. Deleting your Smart Inventory account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription — cancel it in the Google Play Store under Subscriptions.
- Local data on your device: Smart Inventory works offline-first, so items and photos stored locally on your phone or tablet stay on the device until you clear data inside the app, clear the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app.
- Support emails & diagnostics: if you have emailed support@nonzeroapps.com, support correspondence is retained for up to 2 years as described in our Privacy Policy. Aggregated analytics and crash logs are not tied to your account.
Inactive Accounts & Lapsed Subscriptions
Accounts with no sign-in or app activity across any platform for 24 consecutive months (including former subscribers whose subscriptions have ended) are permanently deleted after advance email notices at 12 months, 3 months, 1 month, and 7 days before deletion. Active Premium and lifetime accounts are never deleted for inactivity. If a Premium subscription expires, text inventory data remains in the account while active, and cloud-stored photos are retained for 12 months (with email notices at 3 months, 1 month, and 7 days prior) before removal.
